USRC Rowing Center FAQ

Q: Do you offer training?
A: Yes, training for sculling is offered weekly. The course is a six hour one that includes land based training as well as on the water training

Q: Do you offer group events?
A: Yes, group events are weekly and include "ladies night out", "sculling groups"" as well as our signature "gig event"

Q: Are you a member of any organizations?
A: Yes, we are affiliated with several non profit organizations as well as a member of the United States rowing association.

Q: Do you provide outings and benefits?
A: Yes, we provide outings for our members as well as civic and social benefits. November is the quarterly charitable event for the club in the form of "row for cancer cures" month.

Q: Is the club seasonal?
A: The club is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Club policy is for members on the premises to sign in and note any equipment used.

Q: What assets does the club have?
A: The club has a fleet of 25 human powered boats along with four concept II indoor rowers.

Q: Does the club sell boats?
A: Yes, the club sells both new and used shells
as well as small skiffs. the club is a dealer for little river marine
and offers a full line of boats for single and/or family use.
